We work differently
Our Katalis work in small, cross-functional teams without managers! Our team structure, known as Clans, is customer-oriented, and the teams can collaborate directly when needed. We also believe in shared code ownership and a single backlog.

Our Journey
2019
A group of believers on a mission. This was the year we formally introduced ourselves to the world as DKatalis—a company built on conviction and a desire to make meaningful change.
2020
We grew to over 200 engineers across three hubs in Southeast Asia, laying the groundwork for a strong, distributed tech culture.
2021
A year of bold launches and foundational shifts.
- Introduced the Jago App, bringing the future of banking to life with over 3 million downloads.
- Launched the PX App, simplifying HR for the modern organization.
- Rolled out our very first OKRs, began defining our capability levels, and kicked off collaboration with Stockbit/Bibit.
- Adopted the LeSS framework to scale agile ways of working.
2022
Growth, recognition, and evolving ways of working.
- Named one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia.
- Launched the Jago Syariah App.
- Welcomed more senior Katalis to help scale impact.
- Empowered teams to become self-managing, while strengthening our Agile Coach capability.
2023

- Won the Asian Technology Excellence Award in Information Management.
- Launched Jago Digital Academy with Bank Jago to support continuous learning.
- Collaborated with GoPay to introduce GoPay Tabungan by Jago and GoPay Tabungan Syariah.
- Jago App surpassed 10 million downloads, fueled by continuous product improvements.
- Enhanced performance management with 360 reviews and deepened collaboration through the integration of Product, Data, and Engineering teams.
- Built Jakarta Hub's new Office
2024
Unifying teams and amplifying reach.
- Held our first Immersion Event, where DKatalis and Jago leaders experienced the Jago App firsthad, we call this SATU
- Opened the doors to our new Singapore Hub office
- Welcomed a new clan through the integration of Direct Lending
- Launched Capability Profiles for Product and Engineering to support growth and clarity
